Dr. Larry Duncan, originally from Clarkston, Michigan, obtaining his B.S. in Psychology from Michigan State University and then traveled throughout Europe, Africa, and India. After his travels, he obtained his M.S. degree in Plant Protection and Pest Management from the University of Georgia and then his PhD from the University of California, Riverside and received a Ph.D. |
Dr. Duncan returned to Africa following his Ph.D. and spent a year in Senegal working with plant-parasitic nematodes. He joined the faculty of the University of Florida in 1985 and currently holds the rank of Professor in the Department of Entomology and Nematology.
In 2008, Dr. Larry Duncan was
named Fellow of the Society of Nematologists.
