Hemicycliophora wyei Lopez, Robbins & Szalanski, 2013

Hemicycliophora wyei is named in honor of Dr. Wemin Ye who provided the specimens from which the species was described.  Currently (2018), Dr Ye is a Section Chief in Agronomic Services of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and the supervisor of the Nematology Laboratory.  Ye recived his PhD degreee at the University of Arkansas, working with Robert Robbins. Coincidentally, on a personal note, Ferris and Robbins were classmates in the Department of Plant Pathology at NC State University between 1968 and 1972, during their respective PhD programs.
