Morphology and Anatomy:

With characters of Heterocheilinae sensu Sprent (1980).

• Lips with posterior prolongation, without dentigerous ridges. Interlabia absent.
• Post-labial collar present, comprising longitudinal cuticular ridges between labial prolongations.
• Lateral alae present or absent.
• Excretory pore near nerve-ring.
• Ventriculus lobular (glandular region of esophagus)  or with appendices.
• Male with gubernaculum, equal spicules and four pre-cloacal papillae.
• Female with vulva near middle of body; uterus amphidelphic.
• Parasites of crocodilians.
