Morphology and Anatomy:

• 6 prominent labial setae, 4 long and 4 short cephalic setae, 2 long cepalic setaeAmphides bowl shaped.
• Teeth lyre shape (hence genus name)
• Posterior of esophagus expanded and strongly cuticularized.
• Cuticle faintly striated; scattered somatic setae
• Body narrow in esophageal region.
• Esophageal lumen wide, 2.5um; posterior 1/3 of esophagus abruptly expanded
• Excretory pore opposite nerbve ring
• Tail conical-cylindrical with cuticle at tip slightly inflated.
