Morphology and Anatomy:

Female:

  • Didelphic-amphidelphic
  • Ovaries opposed, reflexed

Male:

  •  Gubernaculum with a well developed apophysis.
  • Two cuticularized tubular precloacal supplements surmounted by a distinct cap.
  • Additional small cuticularized body situated between posterior supplement and cloacal opening

Distribution:

A genus of free-living marine nematodes collected at a depth of 2875 m with a box-core sampler in the Rockall Trough, a deep-water bathymetric feature to the northwest of Scotland and Ireland, running roughly from southwest to northeast.
