Morphology and Anatomy:

A large number of species has been described for Viscosia, many with incomplete detail in the descriptions (Smol and Sharma, 1984)

.

Female:

  • Didelphic, amphidelphic
  • Demanian system present and simple, consisting of a prolongation of the ovary at the reflexed point that connects it with the intestine through the osmosium.

Male:

  • Spicules short, slightly curved, with small heads.
  • Gubernaculum absent.
  • Spinneret a short cone.
