Morphology and Anatomy:

 

  
   

General Characteristics of Genus:

  • Stoma large, barrel-shaped with thin walls.
  • Dorsal tooth well-developed, left subventral tooth present but not well-developed.
  • Only outer labial sensilla present, short and thick, setifom.
  • Pharynx without distinct basal bulb.
  • Tail conical and rounded at the tip.
  • Marine.

Female:

  • Didelphic-amphidelphic
  • Vulva in posterior half of body

Male:

  • Spicules approximately 1 cbd. long, cephalate.
  • Gubernaculum short and simple.
  • No supplements.
