Morphology and Anatomy:

 

 
   

General Characteristics of Genus:

  • Body strongly tapered anteriorly. Anterior sensilla invisible.
  • Stoma very small, in two parts, without teeth.
  • Amphid beaker-shaped.
  • Secretory-excretory system present.
  • Similar to Pelagonema, but anteriorly more tapered and stoma very small.
  • Marine.

Female:

  • Didelphic-amphidelphic

Male:

  • Monorchic
  • Spicules present
  • Gubernaculum absent
