Paracrobeles Heyns 1968
Synonym:
Heyns (1968) proposed the genus Paracrobeles to accommodate the species P. laterellus, which was collected in several locations in South Africa.
Based on the characters of P. laterellus, the genus is characterized by:
The genus was frirst represented by P. laterellus, described from South Africa. More recently, that species has been redescribed based on specimens from Botswana. Other species of the genus have been described from desert regions of southern California, USA.
