Morphology and Anatomy:

•  Cuticle is faintly striated;
• Buccal cavity U shaped
• Amphid circular and located anteriorly
• Esophagus without esophageal bulb.
•  Body with somatic setae.
• Tail is conico-cylindrical with terminal setae..Tail length 1.0-1.1 abd.

Retrotheristus breviseta is reported from sublittoral zaone of German Bight and Divi point (500 and 100m depth), northeast coast of India
