Morphology and Anatomy:

With general characteristics of family Xyalidae, and distinguished from the other genera by:

• Head very characteristic, narrowing sharply to a cylindrical “turret-like” region surrounding the buccal cavity.

Marine nematodes. Type species described from coastal area of New South Wales, Australia (Venekey et al., 2014).
