Morphology and Anatomy:

With the general characteristics of the family Xyalidae. and:

Females:

  • Monodelphic, prodelphic, ovary outstretched
  • Spermatheca large

Males:  

  • Diorchic but posterior testis may be vestigial.
  • Spicules curved
  • Gubernaculum present
