Morphology and Anatomy:

Distinguishing features of the genus are:

•  Six labial papillae and 10 cephalic setae,
• Cylindrical buccal cavity, 
• Tail conico-cylindrical tail without terminal setae. It differs from Elzalia by the absence of terminal setae.
