Morphology and Anatomy:

With general characteristics of family Xyalidae, and: distinguishing features of the genus are:

• Cuticle strated
• Six labial papillae and 4 cephalic setae,
• Cylindrical buccal cavity, 
• Tail conico-cylindrical tail without terminal setae. It differs from Elzalia by the absence of terminal setae.
