Morphology and Anatomy:

Females:

  • Vulva at 63-64% of body length.

Males:  

  • Spicules curved, with a short central lamella in the proximal portion.
  • Gubernaculum with a pair of tapering dorsal apophyses.

Distribution:

Reported from northeast coast of India at Vizag (250 m), and Barua (250 m), Alsao from the Exe estuary at Exmouth, southwest England, Tamar estuary, Southwest England, Clew Bay, West Ireland, Northeast Coast of  England (Annapurna et al., 2012).

Free-living marine nematodes. Presumably epistrate/dissoleved organic matter feeders
