 A species-rich genus of nematodes with ocelli (eye spots) (Croll et al., 1975).

Morphology and Anatomy:

 

  • Cuticle smooth or finely striated;
  • Aamphideal fovea loop-shaped with a rounded to slightly elongate outline
  • Bbuccal cavity narrow and conical
  • Pharynx with a bulb-like swelling at mid-length
  • Ocellus present;
  • Tail conical.
