Morphology and Anatomy:

 

 

  • Cuticle with transverse annules or punctations, sometimes difficult to see.
  • Lateral fields present or absent.
  • Anterior sensilla in three distinctly separated rings.
  • Posterior portion of the buccal cavity cylindrical, with strongly sclerotized walls and provided with three or six thorn-like projections at the border of the anterior portion.

Females:

  • Didelphic, amphidelphic

  •  Spicules long and slender.
