Morphology and Anatomy:

• Small nematodes, head narrow.
• Cephalic capsule very short, lips well-developed.
• Cephalic and cervical setae very short.
• Amphids roundish.
• Stoma extensive, elongate with long pointed dorsal tooth and two smaller ventrosublateral teeth with blunt processes.
• Tail conico-cylindrical.

Distribution:

Free-living marine nematodes. Type species described from Filipjev's collection in 1909 from near the Naples Biological Station in the Mediterranean (Platonova, 1970).
