Morphology and Anatomy:

General characteristics of the genus:

• Cephalic capsule with bifurcated anterior projections.
• Three pairs of large trianfgular teeth. Apodemes thickened in shape of cuneal plate at the site of their attachments to microlabia.
• Posterior lobes of the cephalic capsule pierced by singular openings.
• No ocelli.
