Morphology and Anatomy:

Characteristics of the genus:

Buccal cavity with four teeth, the two dorsal teeth larger than the two ventrosublateral; denticles in the vestibulum.
Anterior sensilla all papilliform.
Pharynx with an anterior bulb and slightly swollen into a basal bulb.
Tail conical with an acute tip.

Males:

Spicules short, thick and weakly arched.
Gubernaculum with small apophysis.
Pre- and postcloacal setae present.
