Morphology and Anatomy:

Characteristics of the genus:

• Stoma with well-developed lips, three or four teeth and denticles in some species (dorsal tooth fused to varying degrees and may appear separated in juvenile replacement teeth).
• Inner labial sensilla papilliform, outer labial and cephalic sensilla papilliform or very short setae.
• Pharynx posteriorly enlarged or with basal bulb.
• Tail cylindrical, very short, wide and blunt.
