Morphology and Anatomy:

  • Inner and outer labial sensilla setiform, four cephalic setae in behind them.
  • Amphidial aperture a transverse slit, fovea large and pocket-shaped.
  • Thick cuticular lining at the tail tip (:the caudal capsule").
  • Marine.

Males:

  • Usually with precloacal papilliform supplements
