Morphology and Anatomy:

• Large nematodes with cylindrical body that  narrows anteriorly through first 350 um,  just in front of nerve ring, so that cervical region is 4-5 times thinner than rest of body.
•  Posterior end rounded.
• Cuticle smooth,with scattered short somatic setae
• Six minute inner labial papillae, 1-2 um long; outer labial and head setae in one circle 11-12 um long
•  Anterior line of cephalic capsule with three cuticular extensions;
• posterior walls of cephalic capsule thick with deep grooves on four long lobes,
• Outer labial setae on lateral lobe aperture of cephalic capsule. Amphids just posterior to lateral cephalic setae; amphideal fovea large, oval
• Buccal cavity small, without denticles.
• Pigmented eyespots absent.
• Pharynx cylindrical anteriorly,crenellated posteriorly.Nerve ring 320-368 um from anterior.
• Tail short, conical, rounded. Caudal glandi nconspicuous.

Distribution:

Collected in box-corer samples at 4983-5766 m depth in  Kuril–Kamchatka Trench in North-west Pacific Ocean.
