Morphology and Anatomy:

 

 

 

  • Head rounded, not offset
  • Mouth absent or inconspicuous
  • Amphid apertures minut, porelike, about 8-10 head widths posterior to lip region
  • Esophagus gradually widening throughout its length
  • Body slender and relatively long, 1 - 1.4 mm, very slender
  • Tail elongate-conoid to terminal point, curved vantrally

Female:

  • Opitshodelphic, monodelphis, no anterior uterine sac
  • Eggs elongate and very slender


Male:

  • Spicules as long as cloacal body diameter
  • 4-6 supplenments, ventral position
