Morphology and Anatomy:

Characteristics of the genus:

Body tapering anteriorly and posteriorly; cuticle smooth..
Stoma without distinct lips or papillae; outer labial and cephalic sensilla setiform.
Pharynx cylindrical, gradually widening but without a distinct bulb.
Two dorso-sublateral rows of ï¿½pitsï¿½ on neck
Tail tapering rapidly from anus, then gradually; swollen posteriorly.

Females:

Didelphic, ovaries doubly reflexed, the posterior much the longer.
Vulva anterior

Males:

Spicules slender
Gubernaculum very small and straight
Pre- and post-cloacal setae presen
Caudal glands behind anus, filling base of tail.
