Hysterothylacium alatum

Body large, elongate, around 2 cm long, yellowish in color; anterior slender.
Broad asymmetrical cervical alae, widest at 1/3 of esophageal length, continuing to tail as narrow cuticular ridges.
Stoma with 3 large lips with narrow bases and broad lateral flanges.
Esophagus cylindrical, long, ending in small spherical ventriculus; ventricular appendix narrow very long.
Anterior intestinal caecum short, slightly longer than length of ventriculus.
Nerve-ring encircles esophagus at about 1/6 of its length.
Excretory pore at level of nerve-ring or just posterior to it
Tail conical; its tip with numerous minute but distinct protuberances.

Male:

Spicules equal, alate, length around 2.2 % of body length .
25 pairs of genital papillae, 17 being pre-cloacal, 1 adcloacal, and 7 postcloacal.
One papilla-like ventromedian organ located on anterior cloacal lip.
Tail conical, tail tip bearing numerous minute protuberances

Female:

Vulva in larger specimen pre-equatorial, at 42 % of body length; vulval lips not protruding.
Tail tip rounded, with numerous small cuticular protuberances
