Odontolaimidae Gerlach & Riemann, 1974

Odontolaimidae are found in moist soil and freshwater habitats, including thermal and mineral waters, but quite infrequently.

They have been reported from all continents except Antarctica.

Feeding habits unknown but the protrusible tooth suggests predatory activity.
