- Head with a single circle of 6 and
4 cephalic setae, or with two closely positioned circles of 6 and 4 setae
- Cuticle striated
- Amphids pocket-shaped
- Stoma
with parallel sclerotized walls crating prismatic effect, minute teeth (if
present) in base of stoma
- Esophagus cyclindrical, cardia large
- Tail filiform without caudal glands or spinneret but with a terminal
mucron.
- Females amphidel;phic or prodelphic
- Males rare, with small supplements
