Pseudodiplogasteroididae Korner, 1954

• Esophagus with anterior and posterior portions of esophagus muscular.
• Anterior part of esophagus with a valved medial bulb; posterior part  of espophagus with a valved terminal bulb.
• Body bilaterally symmetrical

As of 2021, the family has a single genus, Pseudodiplogasteroides.

Modern Phylogenies:

The Order Diplogastrida is considered a suborder (Diplogastrina) of the Rhabditida by Andrassy (2005) and as the superfamily Diplogastroidea within the suborder Rhabditina of the order Rhabditida by DeLey and Blaxter (2002, 2004) and DeLey et al. (2006).
