Dorylaimina Pearse, 1936

The suborder was first proposed by Pearse in 1936.

Morphology and Anatomy:

• Two-part esophagus, slender anteriorly, swollen muscular and glandular posteriorly.
• Simple hollow stylet.
• Males usually rare; have paired testes (diorchic).
• Six Superfamilies.
