General Characteristics of Genus:

  • Head slightly set off by suture.
  • Six deeply cut lips. Inner labial papillae; outer labial and cephalic sensilla setiform or lacking.
  • Amphids large, cup-shaped, at level of stoma.
  • Stoma elongate cylindrical with curved walls, unarmed or with two teeth.
  • Tail filiform.
  • Marine

Female:

  • Monodelphic, prodelphic

Male:

  • Spicules short,
  • Gubernaculum absent.
