Female:
- Small body, 0.44-0.51 mm long.
- Cuticle 2 um thick,with transversal incisures forming annuli
with 2-3 um of thickness at mid-body.
- Lateral fields occupying 13-18% of midbody diameter
- Two alae (3 incisures) from mid neck to near the tail
terminus.
- Lip region continuous with body contour; three pairs of
asymmetrical lips, with dentate margins and four tines each
- Labial papillae six and four larger cephalic papillae
- Amphids rounded, at the base of lateral lips.
- Oral opening surrounded by three Y-shaped labial probolae, 5-7
um long, with a very short base (stipe), with smooth and filiform
prongs.
- Stoma cephaloboid: cheilostom short with well-developed oval
rhabdia; gymnostom reduced with less visible rhabdia, stegostom
muscular with well-sclerotized rhabdia.
- Pharynx cephaloboid: corpus cylindrical, 3.0-4.5 x isthmus
length, with metacorpus not well differentiated; isthmus
slender; basal bulb; cardia conoid. Nerve ring at 70-79% of the
neck length, at the isthmus level. Excretory pore at 76-95% at the
basal bulb level.
- Monodelphic-prodelphic, ovaries on right of intestine:
ovary long, posteriorly directed, oviduct short; spermatheca
well-developed, 0.8-1.1 x vbd ; post-vulval uterine sac
reduced, 0.6- 0.8 x vbd; vagina slightly curved, 27-32% of body
width; vulva a ventral slit, not prominent.
- Tail conical, almost straight, with rounded terminus. Phasmids
located at 32- 43% of the tail length
