    Morphology and Anatomy:

     

     

    Females:

    • Body claviform
    • Stoma semicircular stoma, 2 amphids, 6 outer llabial papillae, 4 cephalic papillae.
    • Nerve ring and excretory pore located 22% and 23%, respectively, from anterior end.
    • Minute spines arranged in rings, with no synlophe;
    • Amphidelphic, didelphic.

    Males:  

    • Body cylindrical, slightly widened toward posterior end;
    • Bilateral synlophe, ridges directed from ventral to dorsal surface.
    • Caudal bursa symmetric, 3-2 arrangement with a prominent dorsal ray divided in 3 branches at the distal end.
    • Genital cone prominent 22 um long, triangular shaped, with a
      subterminal ventral pad
    • Spicules subequal,
    • Gubernaculum present

    Type species reported and described from bats in a Biosphere Reserve in Tiaquiltenango, central Mexico.
