Morphology and Anatomy:

Nematodes in the family Heligmonellidae are usually minute, forming complex coils and resembling each other in appearance, identification based on morphological characteristics is often difficult (Asakawa and Hasegawa, 2018).

Food Sources and Feeding strategies for the genus Heligmonoides

Gastro-intestinal parasites of rodents (Muridae). Heligmonoides spp. are reported to have host specificity (Durette-Desset, 1970).
