- Body long, slender, tail narrowly attenuated
- Cuticle stiated transversally except for cephalic capsule and tail
tip; between head and mid body, anterior wedge of each annulus overlaps
posterior edge of preceding annulus; posterior to mid-body posterior
edge of each annulus overlaps anterior edge of the next.
- Lateral line begins about 100 um from posterior margin of amphidial
pouch, broadening to maximum width near mid-body and then narrowing and
disappearing in tail region.
- Sublateral fields appear as narrow strips of non-annulated cuticle
with maximum width in posterior body; they disappear in posterior 25% of
tail.
- Cuticle thinner in head-end with 6 cap-like projections of thick
cuticle radially arranged between cephalic sensillae. Inner sclerotia
inside each cuticle ring: quadrangular ones close to anterior end or
elliptical ones throughout the body.
- Cephalic setae in two circles. Cervical setae at 3 body diameters
from abase of stoma.
- Thin-walled stoma vestibulum supported by 12 rod-like
cuticlular projections.
- One large hollow tooth and two small sublateral onchia.
- Pharynx slightly broadened posteriorly.
Males:
