Morphology and Anatomy:

 

Females:

  • Didelphic, amphidelphic, ovaries reflexed

Males:  

  • Diorchic, testes opposed, outstretched
  • Precloacal supplements present, cup-shaped (with conical setae protruding from the body of the cup-shape
  • Gubernaculum distally dilated and/or dentate, or not

Note: the genus was transferred to subfamily Cyathlaiiminae by Pastor de Ward (2001) because of the cup-shaped supplements
