Morphology and Anatomy:

With characteristics of family Cyatholaimidae. General characteristics described from males:

• Cuticle heterogeneous; thicker in the cephalic region;
• Punctations appearing Y-shaped; transverse rows of larger punctations in anterior region; lateral differentiation of two to four longitudinal rows of punctations.
• Lateral pore-like structures (LP) with a circular or elliptical cuticularized opening  and with a central, non-cuticularized dome; four to five LP-like structures at mediolateral lines between amphidial fovea and the nerve ring,; from that point to  conical part of the tail, LPs are slightly smaller
• Four sublateral longitudinal rows of circular pore complexes, at 30° to the longitudinal body axis.
• Few somatic setae located sublaterally on the pharyngeal region (7-15 um long) and four sublateral longitudinal rows of small setae along the body..
• Anterior sensilla arranged in two crowns: first crown 6 inner labial setae, second crown 6 outer labial setae with a thinner tip, 14 um long and 4 inconspicuous cephalic setae
• Multispiral amphidial fovea with 5.5-6 turns and circular in outline, occupying 57% of the corresponding body diameter and located slightly posterior to the second crown of the anterior sensilla
• Buccal cavity cup-shaped, cheilostoma with 12 rugae and a narrow funnel-shaped; pharyngostoma with a large dorsal tooth, two pairs of ventrosublateral teeth and three to four rows of denticles
• Cylindrical pharynx, slightly enlarged anteriorly. excretory pore  at mid-pharynx, renette cell 69 × 20.4 um long posterior to end of  pharynx.

Described from sediment in subtidal zone in Sao Sebastiao Island, Sao Paulo State, Brazil.
