Morphology and Anatomy:

The genus is closely related to Bolbolaimus Cobb, 1920. but can be differentiated by its multispiral amphideal fovea and by its six rows of postamphideal setae (Soetaert and Vincx, 1988).

Anterior sensilla in three distinct crowns; outer labial se tae longer than cephalic sensilla.
Amphideal fovea distinctly sclerotized, multispiral, ventrally wound, in an anterior position.
Postamphideal setae in six rows
Pharynx with anterior bulbus and oval posterior bulbus.

Male:

Copulatory apparatus strongly sclerotized.
