Alirhabditidae Suryawanshi, 1971

Morphology and Anatomy:

• Cuticle finely striated
• Lip region narrow, lips amalgamated as a labial disc.
• Amphids on posterior part of lip region.
• Stoma cylindrical, base surrounded by an esophageal collar.
• Esophageal corpus cylindrical, followe by isthmus and basal bulb.
• Tail elongate filiform in both sexes.

Female

• Vulva at slightly >50% of body length
• Monodelphic prodelphic, ovary reflexed and extending posterior to vulva.
• Spermatheca in flexure of gonad.
• Short postvulval sac

Male:

• Monorchic
• Spicules arcuate
• Gubernaculum present
• No bursa.
