Family Angiostomatidae

Obligate parasites of molluscs. Definitive hosts are slugs and snails.

Examples: genera Angiostoma and Aulacnema. Obligate parasites of the mollusc intestine, hepatopancreas, oesophagus, buccal mass, crop, mantle cavity, salivary gland and pallial cavity .
