A small family of free-living marine nematodes

• Amphids curved into an O-shape

• Outer labial and cephalic setae of equal length

• Buccal cavity tiny

• Smooth or striated cuticle.

• Pharynx widening at the posterior end.

• Didelphic, with outstretched ovaries

• Diorchic with and two testes opposed

• Anterior gonad lies to the left of intestine and the posterior to the right.
