A family of marine nematodes.
- Body fusiform, strongly tapered at anterior and posterior ends.
Female length 1.2-2.5 mm.
- Cuticle finely striated.
- Cephalic setae in a single whorl of 10.
- Stoma minute.
- Amphid circular
- Esophagus widening and muscular posteriorly.
- Excretory pore posterior to nerve ring.
- Female diovarial, amphidelphic, gonads outstretched.
- Ovaries strongly developed, producing many small eggs.
- Male diorchic, testees opposed and outstretched.
- Spicules short, gubernaculum without apohysis,
- Tail conical with a termianl spinneret.

Found in sublittoral zones at 10-20m deptha, Kandalasha Bay, White Sea, in
silt and fine sand.
Feeding habits and life cycle unknown.
