Distribution:

Type species reported from Kara Kum desert of the Turkmenian SSR from roots of  Calligonum arborescens (buckwheat family, (Polygonaceae).

Type locality is the Yeradzhi desert reserve 70 km north of the Repetek Desert Station in Tshardzou district, Eastern Turkmenia, USSR.
