Type species of the genus is Australodorus enigmaticus Coomans, Olmos, Casella & Chaves, 2004. As of 2020, this is the only species of the genus.

Morphology and Anatomy:

• Lip region expanded and offset from body contour
• Amphids with wide slit-like aperture and bilobed fovea.
• Odontostyle slender, odontophore with weak flanges.
• Guiding ring at about posterior 30% of retracted odontostyle.
• Esophageal gland pattern typical of Longidorinae
• Tail conver-conoid with rounded terminus in both sexes.
• Male with medioventral supplements more that one spicule length anterior to cloaca.
• Females didelphic, amphidelphic.
