Distribution:

Described from roots of beach grasses (Ammophila breviligulata and Panicum amarulum) at Henlopen State Park and Fenwick Island in Delaware, USA.

Feeding:

Sedentary endoparasite.

Feeding site establishment and development typical of genus.

Hosts:

American beach grass (Ammophila breviligulata),  bitter panicum (Panicum amarulum), wheat (Triticum aestivum cv Coldwell and F1 302), rice (Oryza sativa cv Lemont), oat (Avena sativa F1 501),  bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon), zoysia grass (Zoysia japonicum) and St. Augustine grass (Stenotaphrum secundatum).

Corn (Zea mays) is a non-host (Handoo et al., 1993; Subbotin et al., 2021).
