Morphology and Anatomy:

 

Trichodorus variabilis exhibits morphological variability in:

  • the position of ventromedian cervical papillae  with respect to the onchiostyle base
  • the spicules having or lacking striation in the distal  region of the blade
  • the spicules having or lacking bristles in the proximal region of the blade
  • the pharyngo-intestinal junction being offset to slight overlapping
  • the position of the excretory pore  in females.

Distribution:

Has been reported from Greece and from forest soils in Iran (Pedram, et al., 2017).
