Distribution:

Phasmarhabditis californica is the species of the genus most commonly found associated with gastropod molluscs in California (I.T. De Ley).. It has also been reported parasitzing invasive European slugs (Arion rufus) in Alberta, Canada (Brophy et al., 2020).
