Morphology and Anatomy:

Phasmarhabditis clausiliiae has similar morphological characrteristics as P. circassica. It differs from that speciies mainly in that it has a longer female tail and a wider body relative to its length (smaller c ratio).  Molecular analysis indicates significant diffrence between the two species based on both LSU rDNA ands ITS rDNA (Ivanova et al., 2020).

Distribution:

Phasmarhabditis clausiliiae is described from infected gastropod snails of the family Clausiliidae in the Stavropol district of the Russian Federation (Ivanova et al., 2020).

Biology and Ecology:

Most of the biology of species of this genus is inferred from studies on P. hermaphrodita. other than that the species appears to be sexually reproducing with males common (Hooper et al (1999)
