Morphology and Anatomy:

  • Cuticle tessellate over anterior 12 to 16 annules.
  • Labial probolae low, thick, rounded. Cephalic probolae lobe-like .
  • Width of lateral field about 20% of body diam.
  • Length of esophageal isthmus less than neck width; corpus slender, cylindrical.
  • Nerve ring far forward surrounding corpus near beginning of its posterior third .
  • Excretory pore near nerve ring
  • . Deirids located midway between bulb and nerve ring
