Feeding:

Recorded associated with and a parasite of tarantulas. However, possibly also a bacteria feeder like other members of the family.

Biology and Ecology:

While members of Brevibuccidae occur mainly in tunnels of bark beetles or compost (Andrassy, 2005), Tarantobelus is associated with, and considered a parasite of, tarantulas.
