    Morphology and Anatomy:

    Species are characterized by having a synlophe with 10–12 (5–6 dorsal and 5–6 ventral) cuticular ridges at medium region oriented from right to left, and by lacking lateral cuticular ridgeslar ridges (Durette-Desset, 1983).
